Indigo Lu

Indigo obtained a Bachelor degree in Urban Planning from Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, China and a Master degree in Landscape Architecture from LSU in 2016. During her last year in LSU, she worked in the Coastal Sustainability Studio as a Graduate Assistant where she polished her skills in photoshopping and diagramming. She also did internship in a renowned residential design firm in China in 2015 and 2018 to obtain handy experience in small-scale place-making.

Indigo joined the JFDS team as a Landscape Architect Associate in 2018. During her time in JFDS, Indigo has been involved with a variety of projects including parks, sports facilities, residential, schools and religious institutions. She assisted with site analysis, master plan and preliminary design, 3D modeling, computer renderings and presentational graphics for Bucktown Harbor Master Plan, St.Thomas More Catholic Church and School and Terrebonne Parish-Bayou Country Park project. She also helped with the construction documentation for various other residential and recreational projects.

Indigo is currently working on getting her professional license.
